Replacing the Pump on a Whirlpool or Kenmore Washer On newer Whirlpool and Kenmores with the direct drive transmission, the job simple.

This pump really need no tools to remove, but you can use a screwdriver and pair of pliers to assist you if necessary. Just pop the two clips off of either side of the pump. Then remove the big bands from the hoses. Slide the hoses up out of the way, and the pump will then slide forward with a firm tug. Reassemble in reverse order, taking care to align the flat on the motor shaft with that of the new pump.    We carry both styles of direct-drive pumps, ready to ship. Click here
