Burner wont
spark properly-
Replace the spark module. Check each
ceramic ignitor electrode for signs of damage or cracks and replace any which
are bad.
Erratic Flame
pattern-
Clean all the holes on the burner itself
using a toothpick, etc. These can become clogged during cleaning, spills, etc.
If flame does not contact electrode, it will continue to spark.
Constant
Sparking- (re-ignition models)
Check all burner caps to see that they are
properly seated on their bases. Check for cracked ceramic on electrodes. Remove
any soil from base or cap to assure good electrical path, as spark module
monitors the resistance of the space between the electrode and the base. This
includes the flame pattern, which conducts the current as well.
